There is now exactly a fortnight left to apply for the LIBBE MATZ GANG / DEGENERATE WAVES split CD-R (OX40) - see previous post for details. At 11pm on Sept 30th, the album will be deleted from our catalogue, and all remaining covers burnt by cigarette lighter and the ashes posted to ATOS. The entire album was recently played live on Helsinki station LAHIRADIO.

Due to financial constraints, it is unlikely that we will release more material this year. However, the NIGERIAN WITCHCRAFT split DVD between L.M.G and HACKER FARM is scheduled for release in late October. The 4th L.M.G EP, "SCROUNGERS", will most likely be delayed until 2015 unless we manage to scam an arts grant. Work has also been concluded on the L.M.G IN DUB cassette.

There are also rumours of a three-way pile up between LIBBE MATZ GANG, XYLITOL and GRMMSK but these remain unconfirmed for the time being.

THIS ALBUM HAS NOW BEEN DELETED.

Issued through our Libertatia Overseas Japan micro-subsidiary, this CD-R is technically neither a Libbe Matz Gang nor Degenerate Waves release, but comprises an aural document of highly charged DIY kaos hoodoo workings conducted by members of both pop groups in and around London Underground stations.

After necking libations of MDMA and vodka, this temporary, mobile coven performed six workings at various locations, deep within the labyrinthine bowels of the capital, complemented by the raw metallic KO of the LT grid. Six sonic rituals for protection in the aeon of endless austerity / six slow-burning, memetic mortar bombs fired at the heart of the British occult establishment.

Please note that the contents of this album are of a magically charged nature and should not be compared to conventional noise/experimental releases, nor either group's 'typical' output. Subsequently, due to the unpredictable effects of DIY kaos hoodoo on the unwary, and the fact that these recordings may provoke severe temporal dissociation in some listeners, this release will NOT be available for general consumption.

OCTOBER UPDATE

1) We regret to announce that the Xylitol / Libbe Matz Gang split 7" has been delayed by a few more weeks, due to problems with high-end frequencies - the 7" will now be released on 45rpm, in a slightly remastered form.

Q2 CLOSING STATEMENT / Q3 PROJECTIONS

Libertatia Overseas would like to thank everyone who has so far purchased a copy of the debut Libbe Matz Gang EP, written to us and / or expressed an interest in our activities in this busy but challenging quarter.

Regrettably, we incurred a small loss on net profit in this period - down by approximately £290 (18%) on the corresponding period in the year previous. However, our end-of-year projections remain unaltered, as we feel our international mission has barely begun.

Copies of the 'L.M.G EP' 7" are still available to order from us directly, please see the preceding post for more details. Current stock approx 120.

We are especially pleased to announce that the label has teamed up with Pierogii-Disc to produce a new split 7" single, the full details are as follows:
